Beauty Rana, a young nurse of Durgapur in West Burdwan District, who has been working in a private nursing home in Deoghar district of Jharkhand has been mysteriously found dead.
The family members have alleged that she has been murdered.

Since the past three years she was working in the nursing home as head of nursing staff in ICU. Her sister Mousumi Sinha said that she had left behind her four-year-old daughter.

The victim’s father went to Deoghar after failing to contact her for more than a week and found that she was lying dead inside her rented room and all belongings had been looted.
Mousumi has claimed that she last visited the house a year ago and told her family that she planned to visit again on vacation in mid January.
Her mother Malati Rana has alleged that no staff of the Tridev nursing home is telling the truth and they fear that she has been murdered. The nursing home told us that she was not coming on duty and claimed that she had taken leave and went home.
“On 21 December, she had last called us and told us that she will visit soon. Her daughter stays with us. But since 22 December her phone had been switched off. Beauty said that she was having a fever and her health was not good. After seven days we sent her father to Deoghar to get information,” said her mother Aarti Rana.
The family has urged Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate to pursue her case with Deoghar police.
